Death of Deacon Richard Weber, who served in Belmar parish, announced

Deacon Richard Weber, who ministered in St. Rose Parish, Belmar, died June 11 in Preferred Care, Wall.

Funeral services will begin June 13 with the Reception of the Body at 4 p.m. in St. Rose Church, 603 Seventh Ave., Belmar. Viewing will be held until 6:45 p.m. at which time a Vigil Service will begin.

On June 14, a viewing will continue from 9 a.m. until 10:14 a.m. at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30. Burial will be in St. Anne Mausoleum, Wall.

Deacon Weber was ordained May 9, 2009 by Bishop John M. Smith in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton.

He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen Weber, who died in January.
