Heading to the beach, sleeping late, working part-time jobs and hanging out with friends probably make the top 10 list of favorite things most teenagers like to do during their summer vacations.

But for a group of young people who participated in Mission: Jersey 2025, it was a priority for them to put their faith into action by helping to make someone else’s life a little easier and more comfortable.

This year, teenagers had an opportunity to do works of service at three locations around the Diocese: Seeds of Service, Brick, in Ocean County; the food pantry in Sacred Heart Parish, Trenton, in Mercer County, and Rising Treetop Camp, Oakhurst, in Monmouth County.

More to come on this story.
