After a week filled with all kinds of activities, ranging from fun things like pep rallies, spirit days and ice cream socials to open houses and displaying academic achievements, Catholic Schools Week 2024 closes Feb. 2. Most schools in the Diocese ended their Catholic Schools Week celebrations with Masses and special prayer services.

Among them was St. Mary School, Middletown, where Father Jeffrey Kegley, pastor of St. Mary Parish, celebrated Mass for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. During Mass, students also lit candles in observance of the feast.
