Toms River schools come together for Thanksgiving service

Students and faculty from Donovan Catholic High School and St. Joseph Grammar School, Toms River, gathered for a joint Thanksgiving prayer service Nov. 21 in St. Joseph Church. Father Scott Shaffer, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, presided.  A highlight was the presentation of the St. Joseph the Worker Award to this year's honoree, JoAnn D'Anton, who oversees pastoral care services and coordinates marketing for the parish.
