Kindergarten students in St. Aloysius School, Jackson, learned not only how to read well but how to understand sentence structure.  The class learned that every sentence needs a naming part and an action or state-of-being word.  They also now found out that the shortest sentence in the Bible is... Jesus wept. (from John 11:35).  In an effort to help the youngsters hone their public speaking skills at an early age, each student practiced reading his or her favorite book and then read it aloud to the class while using a microphone.
