Trenton parish to hold retreat, multicultural concert

Blessed Sacrament-Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd Parish, Trenton, will host a parish retreat, Nov. 18, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and concluding with Mass at 4 p.m. The retreat theme is “Questions Asked by the Man from Uz (Job) and How God Answered Them.” Deacon Frederick M. Toca will be the retreat speaker.

On Nov. 19, 4:30 p.m., the parish will hold a multicultural, multilingual concert, “One Heart, One mind and One Faith,” featuring Gospel, anthems, African-American spirituals, African and Afro-Caribbean selections. Music director is Rupert E.Z. Peters.

All are welcomed. A free will offering will be accepted for either event.
