Grandparents from all around – even California – overflowed St. Mary of the Lakes School, Medford, when they gathered for the recent Grandparents/Special Persons Day celebration, which has been a favorite activity of the school for more than 20 years. This year’s event featured the theme, “A Taste of Broadway,” in which each grade serenaded their grandmoms and granddads with popular Broadway tunes. The day also gave grandparents an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet their teachers and view creative projects, artwork displays and other works.
