St. James students 'fuss and feud' in popular spring musical
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.

The St. James School Drama Club, Red Bank, presented their annual spring musical show Fussin’ an’-a Feudin’ to a packed house with rave reviews. This hilarious comedy, written by Tim Kelly and Bill Francoeur, centers around a hillbilly mountain feud between two families of Lonesome Polecat. Action abounds as “city folk” visit Lonesome Polecat to sensationalize the feud by publishing and producing their story for a book deal. The show is full of feisty characters, hysterics, knee slapping and foot stomping tunes.
Musical and technical directors Barbara Oakerson, Fran Byrne, and Susan Signoriello, along with a cast of more than 60 middle school students, worked hard for months to put together the well-received performance.
