Senior spirituality day to feature Msgr. Nolan

A day of spiritual enrichment, entertainment, food and fellowship will be held July 12 in the Arts and Athletic Center of St. Leo the Great Parish, Lincroft, for all maturing adults 55 and older. The day, which runs from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., includes Mass.

The event is sponsored by the diocesan Department of Pastoral Care.

This year’s spiritual keynote speaker is Msgr. Walter Nolan, retired priest of the Diocese of Trenton and long-time host of the diocesan-produced TV series, “The Catholic Corner.” Msgr. Nolan, known for his story-telling, will speak about the Cross, Beatitudes and the life of seniors.

Entertainment will be provided by Bobby Byrne, whose varied repertoire includes Irish ballads, Broadway show tunes, Italian arias and Elvis impressions.

Participants are asked to show their USA spirit by wearing red, white and blue.

Cost for the day is $15 and includes lunch and beverages.
