Parishes plan Scripture studies

St. Anselm Parish, Tinton Falls, and Epiphany Parish, Brick, have announced Scripture study offerings:

St. Anselm Parish will host the 11-week Great Adventure Bible Study starting Feb. 27. Sessions will run for 11 weeks on Mondays from 2 to 4 p.m. or from 7 to 9 p.m.

Emphasis on the Psalms, which are prayers that were inspired by the Holy Spirit to help people to pray will be included during the study.

Registration forms may be obtained at the church, the parish website or by contacting Deirdre Roberts at 732-804-5982 or email [email protected].

Epiphany Parish will host a six-week A Biblical Walk Through the Mass beginning March 2. Sessions will continue every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Parish Hall 3.

In his video-based study, Dr. Edward Sri explores the roots of the words and gestures that are experienced at Mass and explains their significance. The study is intended to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the Mass.

Fee is $20 per person which includes two books used throughout the study. Registration forms may be found on www.churchofepiphany.org. Deadline to register is Feb. 14. For more information, contact Kim Lorentzen at 732-785-0586 or email [email protected]
