The Vatican has released information regarding the worldwide telecasts of Christmas events presided over by Pope Francis.

On Dec. 24, Pope Francis will celebrate the Solemn Mass of Christmas Eve in St. Peter’s Basilica at 9:30 p.m. in Rome. The Mass will be aired on the Eternal Word Television Network live at 3:30 p.m. EST, and again at 7 p.m. Dec. 25. Domestic Church Media, Ewing, will also air live at 3:30 p.m. the EWTN radio broadcast of the Mass on its radio stations WFJS 1260 AM and 89.3 FM, as well as stream live at www.DomesticChurchMedia.org.

Additionally, Pope Francis will deliver his Christmas blessing to the city of Rome and the world – “Urbi et Orbi” – from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica at noon Dec. 25. EWTN will air the blessing live at 6 a.m. EST, then again at 9 p.m.; at 5 p.m. Dec. 26; and 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 31. Domestic Church Media will also broadcast the blessing live at 6 a.m. and again at 10 p.m.

On Jan. 1, the Pope will preside at Mass celebrating the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, and World Peace Day, aired on EWTN at 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. EST.
