Notre Dame High School presents 'Seussical'

The performing arts students of Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, will present the musical Seussical on two consecutive Friday and Saturday evenings: March 1 and 2, and March 8 and 9.

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.

In “Seussical,” a musical based upon the works of Theodor Geisel, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.”

Horton faces the challenges of protecting the Whos from danger and guarding an abandoned egg left to his care by Mayzie La Bird.

The musical examines the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community and is appropriate for all ages.

Tickets for each performance are $12 for adults and $8 for children, students and senior citizens ages 62 and older. For reserved seating, call 609-882-7900 or order tickets on line at www.ndnj.org. Notre Dame High School is located at 601 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
