Mount Carmel students celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe
Celebrating their heritage in faith, the Hispanic students of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Asbury Park, participated in a special liturgy held prior to the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Their knowledge of the feast, as well as their heritage, enhanced the religious celebration for all of the student body. The feast celebrates the appearance of the Blessed Mother in an apparition to Juan Diego, which was proven to the local Mexican bishop by means of a miraculous image of Mary left on his serape.[[In-content Ad]]
