Nineteen former players, coaches, officials and special contributors and their families saw their hoops careers come full circle when they were inducted into the Mercer County CYO’s Basketball Hall of Fame during a banquet Nov. 16 in Nottingham Ballroom, Hamilton.

Former CYO athletes who earned awards are Reggie Coleman, Cathedral; Julian Diaz, Our Lady of Sorrows; Charlie Didun, St. Mary; Roberto Hernandez, Sacred Heart; Frank Konstantynowicz, St. Hedwig (posthumously); Frantz Massenat, Incarnation; John Samonsky, St. Joseph; Arielle Collins, St. Gregory the Great and St. Anthony; Danielle Mitala-Bottoni, Immaculate; Kelly Hutchinson, Holy Angels; and Colleen Flynn Pirrman, Blessed Sacrament.

Coaches who were inducted include Eileen McManimon, Incarnation; Joe Holsman, St. Mary (posthumously); John Tandy, Our Lady of Sorrows; and Peter Yull, Blessed Sacrament. Referees Paul Galyada and Dave Jacobus and special contributors Bob Kelliher (posthumously) and John Wandishin also were honored.

The organization also celebrated Ms. And Mr. CYO Basketball from 2012-13 Tyasia Lewis El and Mascio Sexton and from 2013-14 Imani Lewis and Ryan Roman.
