St. Aloysius School, Jackson, has introduced a Spanish club as an extra-curricular opportunity for students of all different levels to experience Spanish language and activities that go beyond the classroom setting. Under the guidance of "Senora" Rachel White, the club meets weekly where members combine different levels of knowledge, practice the Spanish language and learn the Spanish culture through various activities. One activity the club has been working on is the "Banderas" which involves students, as shown in the picture, learning about flags that represent one of the 21 Spanish speaking countries. Future club activities may include Spanish films, crafts and different cultural celebrations. Photo courtesy of St. Aloysius School
