On May 13, St. Mary School, Bordentown, celebrated its May Crowning. This is a tradition at St. Mary in which kindergarten, first and second grade classes take part in crowning the Blessed Mother.
This year, the school was lucky to have a special visitor in Mrs. Hess, who crowned Mary 59 years ago when she was in eighth grade at St. Mary's. Pictured are Mrs. Hess along with Miss Callie Dompier, a kindergarten student who was this year chosen to crown Mary.
