Confidential sexual violence advocate training planned

St. Francis Community Service, St. Francis Parish and Community Center, Brant Beach, are currently accepting applications for the Sexual Abuse and Assault Advocate training program to be held Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 11 through Dec. 4 at 4700 Long Beach Blvd.

After completing a 12-week training program, participants will be certified confidential sexual violence advocates and be on call to provide crisis intervention, educational information and resources to sexual assault survivors in Ocean County.
