Our Diocese Tod@y

Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., led 2,000 faithful from more than 27 parishes on a diocesan pilgrimage Nov. 4 to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

Members of the Diocesan Office of Communications and Media were on hand the capture the joyous occasion in words, photographs and video to produce comprehensive, multimedia coverage of the pilgrimage, which is now available.

A highlight video features reflections from Bishop O’Connell and pilgrims, as well as shots of the yet-to-be-dedicated Trinity Dome and other points of interest inside the Basilica. You also can watch Bishop O’Connell’s homily from the pilgrimage, view photo galleries and more on the diocesan website’s dedicated pilgrimage page.

Look for a six-page, full-color special section about the pilgrimage in the Nov. 16 print edition of the Monitor, or find it online at TrentonMonitor.com. For extra copies, or to subscribe, reach out to The Monitor’s Business Desk by calling 609-403-7131, or write to [email protected].
