Catholic Schools Week 2019 has officially begun in the Trenton Diocese. And now schools are gearing up for a bustling activities week ranging from open houses, special Masses and prayer services to welcoming visitors such as parents, grandparents and folks who serve in their communities.

Throughout the week, students will also enjoy participating in pep rallies, sporting activities and competitions and hosting breakfasts and lunches for the teachers and faculty members.

Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M., began his busy Catholic Schools Week schedule Jan. 26 when he made a surprise visit to St. Rose Parish, Belmar, and celebrated the parish's Vigll Mass.
