St. Ann School, Lawrenceville, kicked off Catholics School Week celebrating “Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service” by thanking the Lawrence Township Police Department.

Chief Mark Ubry, Lt. Tim Drew, Sgt. Jim Smith and Officer Marc Poveromo attended a school-wide Mass Jan. 30 and received a proclamation that stated, “Let it be known that St. Ann School is in partnership with the Lawrence Police Department to show our support for their service and dedication in keeping our community safe and providing our students with role models.” 

In addition, Detective Sgt. Joseph Lech joined Sgt. Smith and Officer Poveromo as guest celebrity bingo announcers during a school-wide assembly.

Other activities during the week included a parent, student and faculty appreciation day, a Day of Service in which a school-wide service project is administered for children in the Philippines, and an open house event.
