Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."  Would you end the life of God?  Since every individual who walks on this Earth was created in God's image then why would anyone want to end the life of another person?

From the moment of conception to the final days of one’s life, and all of the years in between are worth living.  God created every single person with the intention of having them live a full life.  Could you imagine if Mary decided she did not want to go through with having Jesus? Or if Ben Franklin's mother decided his life was not worth living?  Imagine how different our world would be if some of the greatest minds and innovators were never given the chance to live.  Just think of all of the amazing inventions, literature, cures to different diseases, or athletes that the world is missing when you choose to end the life of your unborn child.

Beginning at birth every person should have the chance to live his or her life to the fullest.  Even the elderly should be given the chance to pass on in peace.  God's intentions were never to have someone give up on life.  Not all of God's children are born perfectly healthy, sometimes people may be born with disabilities or develop mental illnesses over time.  Just because they are different does not mean they do not deserve the same chance as everyone else.  No one says life is easy but that is why God is there for us.  He is constantly there for you whenever you need comforting and guidance.  No matter what struggles or obstacles you face in life God will be standing beside you for it all.

Recently it seems that the Government and everyone keep voicing their opinions about the right to life.  Who is pro-choice and who is not?   This even plays a major part in deciding on which candidate one chooses to vote for President.  Why would someone choose to end a life?  Whether at conception, or the end stages of life, I believe that every life matters.  Why can people not accept God's wishes for allowing all lives to be worth living? Who are we to decide?   This past fall I had the opportunity to go and serve the homeless in Philadelphia, and it really moved me on how grateful everyone was to have someone to talk to and receive a sandwich from us.  Those people had nothing but the clothes on their back, and I know that they are so grateful to be alive.  They have nothing at all, yet I believe their life is worth living, and so do they.  Every person, young or old, rich or poor has the right to life, and every human being should be given the right to life, and should be treated with respect and dignity[[In-content Ad]]
