Bishop O'Connell celebrates Advent with Catholic schools

Bishop David. M. O’Connell, C.M., visited a number of Catholic schools recently to celebrate the season of Advent and spend time with students.
During the week of Dec. 16, the Bishop stopped by St. Rose High School and Grammar School, where he celebrated Mass and toured classrooms, and Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville.
The Notre Dame Mass, which drew alumni, students and staff alike, also included a Live Nativity performance. Afterward, Bishop O’Connell was presented with two gifts, one of which was a Catholic Athletes for Christ sweater.
Bishop O’Connell also visited Trinity Hall, the all-girls college preparatory high school located at Fort Monmouth. He celebrated Mass Dec. 13 and had the opportunity to meet with students.
