Registration is now open for college-age faithful wanting to attend SEEK2019.

This year’s event, titled “Encounter Something More,” will be held Jan. 3-7 in Indianapolis. Hosted by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, or FOCUS, SEEK is a five-day event that brings young adults together to discuss faith, life, love and true happiness as well as offers opportunities for daily Mass, adoration, confession, reflection and discernment.

Registration is open until Dec. 4 at www.seek2019.com for those needing accommodations; commuter and day passes are available throughout the event.

Among the speakers will be Franciscan Friar of the Renewal Father Agustino Torres – a frequent keynote guest for the Diocese of Trenton’s annual Diocesan Youth Conference. Father Torres will lead a bilingual session, “Mi cultura, mi fe | My Culture, My Faith.”

Father Rafael Capó, a member of the U.S. bishops’ leadership team for the National Encuentro of Hispanic Ministry, will lead a session exploring the experiences of Hispanic young adults and their calling to missionary discipleship. Father Capó is also a member of the World Youth Day National Advisory Team.

Other speakers include Father Mike Schmitz, Jennifer Fulwiler, Dr. Scott Hahn, Dr. Edward Sri and REBOOT!’s Chris Stefanick.

Christian rock band NEEDTOBREATHE and Grammy nominee Matt Maher will perform at the event. Additional entertainment includes comedian Michael Jr., Sarah Kroger and FOCUS Collective. FOCUS is likewise hosting “Awaken,” an exclusive poetry, art and music competition.

Several leaders in college and professional sports will speak at Varsity Catholic events including Matt Birk, former Super Bowl Champion; Alyson Habetz, associate head softball coach for the University of Alabama; Kevin Lennon, vice president of Division I for NCAA, and Joe Reitz, former Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman.

There will also be a Lifelong Mission Track designed for FOCUS alumni, parishioners and benefactors who desire vision, training and resources to be missionary disciples in families, parishes and careers.

FOCUS events have welcomed more than 61,000 attendees since the inaugural National Conference held in 1999, where 25 students came together to pray, deepen their Catholic faith and learn how to share Christ with others. Nearly 13,000 attendees attended SEEK2017, including students and chaplains from more than 500 campuses.
