Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, will hold its 24th annual Taste of Burlington County fundraiser Oct. 10 at The Merion, 1301 Route 130 South, Cinnaminson. The event, which will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m., will feature samplings from more than 20 local restaurants, a gift auction and raffle drawing.
More than 400 people attended last year’s event, which raised more than $60,000 to support counseling for adults and children, education and legal advocacy, a 24/7 hotline, sheltering and specialized children’s services that Providence House provides confidentially and at no cost.
The Taste of Burlington County is the only major fundraising event to support Providence House in Burlington County, which this year marks its 40th year of service.
This year’s participating restaurants include: b.good of Marlton; Bonefish Grill; Buffalo Wild Wings of Moorestown; Chickie and Pete’s of Bordentown; Don Pablo’s of Moorestown; Georgetti’s Marketing and Catering of Cinnaminson; Miller’s Ale House; Pancheros Mexican Grill, Seasons 52; Throwbacks Bar and Grill of Delran; Whistler’s Inn of Cinnaminson; The Breakfast Nook and Dredge Harbor Dockside Café of Riverton and Delran; Bob Evans of Mount Laurel; Braddock’s Tavern; Cathy’s Catering of Palmyra; Costco Wholesale of Mount Laurel; Frutta Bowls; Harvest Seasonal Grill; Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden; Recovery Sports Grill; The Pie Lady Café; Victoria’s Bagel Bistro of Mount Laurel; The Merion of Cinnaminson.
