The following parishes and outreach agencies have put out a call for volunteer assistance

As a member of Interfaith Hospitality Network, St. Mary of the Lakes Parish, Medford, will host a week of caring for homeless families April 19-26 in the Emmaus Center

Parishioners are invited to help care for the guest families. Sign-up sheets will be available after all Masses the weekend of April 4-5 and 11-12.

Duties in which volunteers can assist are: providing dinner at the Emmaus Center; picking up and donating food and various items for lunches and other needs; serve as an evening host from 5 to 9 p.m.; socialize and eat with the guest families; serve as an overnight host from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; drive families from Emmaus Center to the day center at 6:30 a.m.; drive families from the day center to Emmaus Center at 5 p.m.; set up and take down facilities in Emmaus Center; launder bed linens.

Volunteer families with children are encouraged to participate.

The Art and Environment Ministry in Holy Eucharist Parish, Tabernacle, needs parishioners to share their gifts and talents to make the church workshop space reverent through the liturgical seasons. Assistance is needed with hanging banners and decorations as the liturgical seasons change. The ministry is in particular need of men who are available during the day to assist.
