The following agencies seek volunteers:

Volunteers are needed to help with the preparation of electronically filed tax returns. Volunteers must attend approximately six days of training during December and January. Classes will be held in St. Mary of the Pines Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin Volunteers are required to be available at least one half-day weekly from Feb. 1 to April 15. The program is sponsored by AARP in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service and NJ Division of Taxation. To volunteer, call 609-294-0730.

 

Senior Care Services provides free health and medical related transportation, food shopping and friendly visits to seniors over 65. Volunteers provide services for those living in Princeton, West Windsor, Plainsboro, Kingston, Rocky Hill, Montgomery and Lawrenceville. Senior Care Services (formally known as the Senior Care Ministry of Princeton) make it possible for community members to remain in their homes rather than moving into a nursing facility.
