All young adults 18 and older who are interested in attending the World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal, are invited to attend a virtual information session on Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

The virtual session is open to anyone in the Dioceses of Trenton and Camden, and will be a time to learn about the August 2023 WYD and ask questions. Login information for the meeting will be given at time of registration.

“This [virtual meeting] is for anyone who is interested or even just thinking about attending the WYD trip,” said Dan Waddington, director of the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Trenton Diocese. The group that ultimately goes to Lisbon will comprise pilgrims from both the Camden and Trenton Dioceses, “who will plan and travel together for the entire experience,” he noted.

“We will cover everything – from the cost, hotel, travel arrangements, itinerary and more,” Waddington said of the pilgrimage. “We would welcome questions on all this and more! World Youth Day is a powerful and potentially life-changing event. We are really excited to partner with the Diocese of Camden and help as many young adults as possible to join together with the global Church and the Holy Father in Lisbon.”
