Parish communities around the Diocese opened wide their doors and were ever ready to celebrate the Birth of Our Lord Jesus with their parishioners and visitors who gathered for Masses on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Monitor freelance photographers Hal Brown, Mike Ehrmann and Deacon Joe Moore were on the road visiting the parishes of St. Denis Manasquan; St. Joseph, Toms River, and St. Joan of Arc, Marlton, where they captured highlights of Christmas Eve Masses that included blessing of manger scenes and a re-enactment of the Nativity story by young parishioners. The coverage continued on Christmas Day when Mike Ehrmann joined the faith community for the noon Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Hightstown.
