Medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, certified nursing assistants, medical technicians, hospital administrators, nursing home personnel and emergency personnel from around the Diocese gathered in prayer and fellowship during the annual White Mass celebrated Oct. 16 in St. Luke Church, Toms River.

The White Mass was offered in appreciation for their service to the local community.  Father Robert S. Grodnicki, pastor of St. Luke Parish, was the principal celebrant.

During the Mass, the healthcare workers had an opportunity to have their hands blessed by Father Grodnicki and other clergy in attendance.
