The challenges brought about by the coronavirus pandemic and dealing with grief during the holidays will be the focus of two upcoming workshops hosted by Francis House of Prayer, Allentown.

“How to Feel Calmer in the Midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic” – scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 and 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 23 – is an online offering that will address stress-related issues related to the pandemic, including fear of contracting the virus, grief associated with losing a loved one to the virus, having a loved one at risk, financial uncertainty, and juggling the work schedules of children and parents.

Through her presentation, Sister of St. Joseph Anne Myers will offer guidance on navigating the pandemic with a sense of calm.

The fee is $10; payments made by check may be sent to Francis House of Prayer, 84 Walnford Road, Allentown, N.J., 08501. To pay by credit/debit cards, visit FHOP.org.
