Trenton Catholic Academy juniors Nate Perez, Karen Segura, Kelvin Guadron and Madison Nerey with their faculty advisor, Marianite of Holy Cross Sister Barbara Schreier, organized a blood drive as part of their Catholic Schools Week observnce. The drive in support of the Community Blood Council of NJ resulted in a donation of 51 units of blood.

Sister Barbara commented, “Giving blood is so very important. Each unit donated can potentially save three lives.”

Segura said, “Today we helped 153 patients. That is totally amazing!”

Guadron promised, “We are already planning the next blood drive. Our goal is to get even more donors, so we can save more lives. Everyone who can should donate blood.”
