Philadelphia Shrine to host April 20 concert

The choir from La Salle University, Philadelphia, will host a spring concert April 20 in the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 500 E. Chelten Ave., Philadelphia.

The program starts at 2 p.m. and features the ensemble’s interpretations of many popular faith-inspired songs including Z. Randall Stroope’s “Trinity Psalms,” Allen Pote’s “The Lord is My Shepherd,” Rene Clausen’s “Kyrie from Memorial,” and Philip Stopford’s “Ave Maria.

A free-will donation will be collected from attendees with proceeds benefitting the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal. Attendees are invited to stay for the celebration of Mass at 4 p.m.
